My world stop spinning. My breath stopped and my body paralyzed. But my tears are still flowing from my eyes. Sa gitna ng gabi, sa gitna ng katahimikan, sa gitna ng pagtigil ng mundo ko, luha ko lamang ang gumagalaw.

"Lauren.." I murmured. I stare at her with wide eyes. There are dried tears on her cheeks. Her face is in peace. But my system is in chaos.

"Lauren..." Natauhan ako. I shook her body slightly, trying to wake her up.

"Baby, don't do this to me..." My chest hurts. Tila sinasakal ito sa sobrang sakit.

"Lauren! Open your eyes, my wife! Don't be cruel to me! Don't hurt me! Don't kill me!" I shouted. But she didn't open her eyes.

I closed my eyes tightly. Fuck! Dapat hindi ko siya sinunod. Dapat hindi ko siya kinantahan. Instead, dapat dinala ko na siya sa palasyo para gumaling! Fuck! But sino ang niloloko mo, Austin!? You know that no one can heal her now, no one can mend her now because of the weapon that the fucking bastard used to kill her.

We mixed in the air. When I opened my eyes, we're already on our room. I gently laid her on our bed. I snapped my finger, calling the servants. Inangat ko ang kamay at dinala iyon sa dibdib niya. Kanina ko pa 'to sinusubukan, na pagalingin siya ngunit wala na. I heaved a sigh and concentrated.

"I can't let you go, baby..." I tried again. Again and again. But nothing happened. She's still asleep in the darkness. Darkness that's so greedy, at hindi na siya papayagan pang magising muli. My hands trembled at inulit ang paggamot sa kaniya. Ngunit hindi sumasara ang sugat, hindi na muling tumitibok ang kaniyang puso.

"Fuck!" Lumitaw sa harap ko ang kambal. Iniwan ko sila rito sa palasyo. Their eyes widened when they saw my Lauren, lying on the bed lifeless.

"C-call our b-best doctor. N-now!" I shouted. Mabilis silang tumango. Nawala sa hangin.

I crouched down and hugged her tightly.

Baby, you can't leave me, again. Please... Huwag mo akong iwan. You're hurting me big time. Please stop it now. Hindi ko na kaya.

I closed my eyes tightly and kissed her forehead. Hindi ko kakayanin na mawala siya sa akin. Lauren is my life. She's my laugh, she's my smile, she's my happiness, she's my breath, she's my everything. And I don't know what will happen if I lose her. I can't... I just can't accept it.

No one is able to accept their love one's death. Ito na ata ang pinakamasakit na mararamdaman ng isang nilalang, ang mawalan ng minamahal.

Kahit anong nilalang. Not only humans, but also vampires, wolves, witches and other creature. At kahit ako ang hari ng bampira, nasasaktan pa rin ako. Nasasaktan nang sobra. Lauren is my strength, but she's my weakness, too. She's my weakness that may lead me to my greatest downfall. And I can taste my downfall now. Paunti-unti na akong nawawasak.

"King.." Napalingon ako sa dumating na doctor. She's a vampire with ability to heal any injuries or sickness.

Mabilis akong tumayo at hinawakan siya sa balikat.

"Save my wife..." I uttered.

Sinulyapan niya si Lauren. Sandali siyang nakatitig doon na tila inaanalisa.

"King, I heal injuries and sickness. But I can't... resurrect someone," she sadly said.

I quickly shook my head. I bowed my head and slowly kneeled down, in front of her.
